In response to industry developments, Ambiental has consolidated its existing UK-wide fluvial (river), tidal and pluvial (surface water) flood risk datasets into a single, comprehensive product – UKFloodMapTM.
Combining statistical methods and our flood modelling software platform, FlowrouteTM, this unique multi-layered dataset covers the entire UK to building-level detail.

Built on Intermap’s NEXTMap Britain v2.0 DTM and the complete Environment Agency LiDAR database, UKFloodMapTM features an unprecedented level of accuracy and detail.
UKFloodMapTM offers building-level risk modelling, using a range of classification depths and multiple return periods to show varying layers of information. Such detail allows a more comprehensive view of flood perils, enabling better decision making, improved loss control and accumulation management. UKFloodMapTM is improving customer awareness about flood risk.
UKFloodMapTM is available in flat file format (GIS files and unit postcode level databases) or as an integrated package within Intermap’s Risk Management Applications (RMA).
