Ambiental received the honour of being named Best Environmental Industry Company at the Brighton and Hove Business Awards (BAHBAs) for the second year in a row, as well as adding The Award for Business Beyond the City.

Our bid was based on our international work, new technology and our expanded range of products. In the past year, we have developed highly accurate and validated flood models for countries including Australia, UK, Czech Republic and Switzerland, and we have set up operations in Australia, Asia and the USA. Our FlowRoute software now models around 25% more rivers than other commercially-available products.

The awards were announced in a ceremony at the end of Brighton Pier on 10th July, collected by Managing Director Dr Justin Butler, and Technical Director David Martin. “To win our second environmental award in a row is great, it shows a real recognition of the value of our work,” said Butler. “The business is growing and moving into new markets at home and abroad, and our achievements at this year’s BAHBAs reflect that success
