We're writing to you to give you an update on the Ambiental team and how we're adapting to the current Coronavirus guidance in place throughout the UK.

The safety of the team and our customers is of utmost importance to us, and so last week we took the decision to have the team work from home and to cancel any face-to-face meetings or site surveys where necessary.

As many of you who are currently working with us will have noticed, we continue to have full remote access to our required tools and software in order to continue supporting your projects with minimal disruption and intend to continue doing so.

The biggest change for you would be how to contact us. Only our senior staff have direct phone numbers via mobiles and therefore if you're calling for a specific team member, your call will be directed to our admin team who will pass on the message and you'll get a call back. The easiest and quickest way to contact someone directly is now through their email. 

We remain in daily contact with the Environment Agency and many Local Authorities to understand any changes to the planning process. At this stage, everyone within the industry wants to continue submitting and approving new planning applications where possible. However, given the challenges that are inevitably going to affect everyone within the industry, it's likely there will be delays to this process. This will be made clear to you upfront when you speak to a member of the team. This has been reflected in the latest government planning guidance update for planning officers that you can see here.

We know how important it is to you and your projects that there is minimal disruption or delay to our processes in this uncertain time. We will do our absolute best to continue with the level of service you've come to expect from the Ambiental team.
